I was gone for the whole week..

... in case you didn't notice. Here are some pix from Yosemite, mostly Half Dome, Glacier Point, and Curry Village. We almost made it up to Half Dome until a nasty thunder storm moved in which killed it. We had to hike 8 miles back, I was bitterly disappointed but there's always next time..

The temperature on a sunny Fall morning in Yosemite Valley.

Cooking breakfast!

Best idea since sliced bread!

Curry Village

If you're afraid of height, the last part of Half Dome Trail is not for you...

Hiking at 5am

Awesome view

View from Glacier Point

The food!

The bear didn't call back...

TacomaQT smiling for the camera

Me pretending to smile but was really scared shitless!

The rest of the pix are at http://www.socalcampers.com/gallery/browseimages.php?c=20

Oh we went WAY beyond Vernal Fall, Nevada Fall, Little Yosemite Valley. The Half Dome trail is 8 miles one way, we went pretty much all 8 miles, minus a couple of hundred yards because a thunder storm. Yeah, it's beautiful up there.
