Cars as scary as bikes.

All anyone talks about is how dangerous motorcycles are compared to cars. About one hour ago I dont know how i didnt end in the hospital.

My friend has a really nice 98 supercharged (and other stuff) mustang gt. Some little 5lb turbo volvo thing pulled up to us at a red light and started revving (LOL). The light turns green they both take off, just as im about to record the 4 car lengths we have on this car, my friend shifts to 4th the back tires lose traction and chirp sideways and about 8 spins later we are shaking and wondering how we didnt flip. We spun through the grass median and everything.

Close to the scariest moment of my life. On a bike I wouldve been seriously hurt or killed there, but I dont see the bike chirping out like a 410 horsepower mustang.

Sorry car fans but I prefer a bike.
(Sorry for the book.)

I love my 02 GT, but I'd rather ride my bike. I do feel safer in my car, probably due to the fact I've been driving 12 years....then again I've never seen a bad bike wreck.

Started riding on 3/27/2012
Currently own Kawi 250R 2012

The rear end on mustangs are way to like to handle higher end horse power.

It was pretty funny though, when we stopped spinning and calmed down a bit we realized his whole interior was covered, like completely covered, in hay. The median we spun into had hay spread across to help get the grass growing. It was in every little crevice, stuck to the hood, all over us as well. It was one of those moments when you almost got really hurt and somehow found something to laugh over.

I have had many scary experiences in cars that scare me to shit. Thing is after 2 once it happens again, your body doesn't freak out. You just sit there and in a calm state are like ohh shit inside. Haha. So when stuff like that happens I temd to enjoy it and laugh and move on. Unless of course something happens which hasn't. I would make an argument on the Mustang hah but this is a moto forum. So no need. Glad your okay man. Cheers!

thats why you get a awd i drive a subaru haha i do agree for the most part though. cars can be equally dangerous simply because in a bike you cant get complaicent*sp* like you can in a car, soon as you relax or get cocky thats when stuff goes sour.

its all about the driver and the rider, not what they drive or ride.

it not really what i am driving it what other people are; i live in the city and people will tap your car or bikes or run you off the road. You must know how to anti manovior to avoid the other crazy drivers. If you are in the city you will see a lot of cars with a rubber flap covering their back that is due to they don't know how to parallel park or just know they will get tap from the back.
