Putting on new Grips
I haven't seen a topic on this yet, and I feel like everybody should know the easier way on how to put new grips on without taking off the bar ends. I've tried taking off the bar ends, and almost stripped them in the process, so to save everybody, here is how I put my new grips on.
First, I assume since you're not wanting to keep your old grips, use an blade and cut the old grips horizontally and rip them off. Be care not to cut the plastic on the throttle.
Second, take your new grips and soak them in soapy water, then get some hairspray and spray the insides of the grips.
Third, make sure that you put the right grips on the correct side. The throttle grip should have a bigger hole than the left grip.
Lastly, slip on the grips over the bar ends, and Viola! They should slide on easily with no ripping!
Let the grips dry for about 30 minutes or so outside so the hairspray makes the grips stick.
Let me know if I helped anyone!
