Companies to Purchase From?

Anybody have suggestions on where to purchase accessories/modification stuff online? I have friends who own a motorcycle parts business, but some of the accessories for a Ninja 250 they don't offer because their vendor doesn't offer them. I would really appreciate some reputable sites/dealers so I can put some additional things onto my bike.

Motosport.com is excellent. I use them for my dirt bike too. They are one of the site sponsors as well.

Speaking of, be sure to check out the other site sponsors listed on the forum start page.

Cycle Gear has some stuff for the Ninja 250 as well.

And finally, ask around your local Kawasaki dealer and see what they have to offer. (And if you don;t plan on doing your own maintenance on your bike, now would be a good time to make friends with their service manager/dept.)

I have come to terms with the possibility of dying while riding, life has a 100% death rate. I would rather live having fun and end up dead in a motorcycle crash than never do anything fun because it's dangerous and I might get killed. No one makes it out alive anyway. - From a friend on another forum, used with his permission.

Awesome, thanks for the thoughts. My boyfriend will be doing the maintenance on the bike as he has been doing his own maintenance for years. We have a couple friends who are even more knowledgable that can assist with more difficult issues if necessary So that's awesome because it's a money saver. I will check out the site sponsors for some accessories!

all of my mod stuff has been purchased on ebay without any problems. As long as you're somewhat educated with what you're doing, as in: doing research, asking the seller for more detailed pics and such to make sure things will fit your bike. I've done 6 or 7 mods to my bike cosmetically and a few more mechanically without any problems at all.

I mostly use Motorcycle-Superstore, Bike Bandit, and Twisted Throttle. I'm not sure how much Twisted Throttle will apply for the 250, but the other two have plenty of stuff and I have never had a bad experience with them. In addition, Bike Bandit gives a 10% discount if you are an American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) member.

For my automotive accessories (cars, truck, motorcycle and atv) I always purchase at 4wheelonline. They do sell cheaper price compared with other online store.
