Aftermarket mirrors installation

I bought a pair of aftermarket mirrors (the kind with two studs that go through the mirror mounts). Installing them seemed pretty straight forward but there really doesnt seem to be any way to get to the two nuts to put them on and tighten them with the fairing in place. Does anyone have any experience with this?

You could loosen the "interior?" plastic panels that attach to the front cowl and get to the nuts with a wrench. BUT It could be easier for you to remove the front cowling, which requires removing the side fairings and various bolts and plastic clips. I just removed the whole damn cowling when I installed my signal integrated mirrors.

Most aftermarket mirrors will not fit the Ninja 250. The mounting bracket bolt holes for the mirrors don't match up. Some modification to the fairing and frame stay will be necessary. Many have installed the Ninja 650 mirrors without the mounting bracket.
