8000k HID's up & running

So after weeks of staring at the HID box I decided to install them fiinally. After a few threads and some searches I narrowed down the problem for the lights not firing up.The light fuse is a 20 amp. This fuse had to be updraded with a 30 amp. After I popped the fuse in the HID buld lid right up.The install is pretty straight forward. The only tricky step is to get the hook in that holds the bulbs in place. The small ballast where tucked in the front fairings with zip ties.No double sided tape here.Yoo could barely see them.Overall the install was cool minus the cuts on my arms.

Thanks.Maybe on Saturday you could show me where the light adjustment screws are at.I looked for them on the bike but cant find them .

OH BTW I dropped the bike on Friday getting off the freeway.I was at the light next to a car.The guy never shaw me decided to make a right in front of me.So luckily I moved out of his way but ended up losing balance and dropping the bike.Luckily I didnt get hurt and the damage on the bike was minor. The mirror broke and the blinker on the right. All parts have been replaced total of $140 bucks. Not bad.At least the fairing didnt break or me.Learned a lesson dont get close to cars and make your presence known to the.....

As if the 250's didn't have bright enough lights. People will definately see you now.

As for the hooks... is it the little wire looking thing that you have to squeeze to get on and off? I almost cut myself on those things on my friends' 600RR, sure they keep the bulbs nice and secure, but they're a pain to use. Literally.

If you feel like you've outgrown your 250, you've probably outgrown your helmet too.

Don't forget to include the pictures with each step.
