This model 250's front turn signals stick out pretty far, and I wasn't very fond of them. I looked everywhere for Asiancycle flushmounts, but found out they weren't being made anymore. But I found some on ebay exactly the same style.
Here are the ones I'm going to install
The ones I'm taking off. They stick out about 8 inches and I think they need to go
The new signals are made for this bike and should fit perfectly right in that space (with some drilling/cutting for the light socket)
These are great for permanent attachments like this and very easy to use
the stockets are slanted in such a way that required me to drill through the fairing in order to get them to fit
Obviously the socket doesn't fit, but the screw holes line up perfectly
The socket will fit through this circle and this little stencil-piece lies underneath the turn signal. I traced the circle and drilled into it. Started with a small bit and went progressively bigger until I reached the right size hole. Forgot to take pics of the drilled holes. The holes looked pretty bad as the plastic melted quite a bit, but they did the job
I decided to cut the wires on the turn signal end of the original bullet connectors. That way I can just disconnect the new signals whenever I have to take the fairing off
Not a great pic, but this is the finished product.
shortly after the install
