Nice conversion, you fabricated the seat? is it metal or fiberglass? Is that a bates headlight? has anyone made a flat tracker style conversion using the ninja 250 yet?

Thats a custom one off fiber glass seat pan made for the late model Ninja 250. The bucket for the light is Emgo and was going to finish with a custom grill.
more pics of the bike on photobucket.

Caferon, that is a beautiful bike. You've done a great job on it. I just bought a ninja 250 basket case. Once I get it running I am going to start customizing it. I think I am going to sell the plastics on it and use that money to finance a cafe look. I especially like yours because to me, being an old fart and having lived during the cafe bike craze at its beginning, I think your effort is closest to the spirit of cafe racers of that era. I have to concentrate on getting my engine running first...

That what I did! You trully want to make sure it runs sound before youspend a ton of money to find out you need a new motor.
