what jets to use and where to get them

I have a 250r and the throttle is week in the low rpms want to change the jets for better low end and overall perfomance I have started with a K & N filter and the next will be jets and a MPGrowler pipe

You can get the same performance gain with just adjusting the needle height (shimming) and removing the snorkel as you can with re-jetting, kleen air removal, slip on exhaust and filter, etc. Shimming is also easier, less troublesome and better mpg. Getting the carbs dialed in correctly can be a PITA. Sound sacrifice performance for sound. Slip on exhaust offer almost no measurable performance gains just noise.
