Enough power for an electric liner?

The Missus just acquired a decent '07 to get more adept at the sporty side of things (and a clutch- her bike's a Honda NC700X DCT). It's still pretty chilly in this neck of the woods and she's accustomed to her very effective Gerbing's electric jacket liner.
Apart from the spec page, is it practical to hook up a liner to the 250 and have the battery survive, especially during lower speeds with some traffic?
For that matter, how about grip heaters, like the inexpensive Kimpex ones?
