2007 ninja modifications

I'm a first time rider, and I just got a 2007 Kawasaki ninja 250r. and wanting to some modifications to it.

1st. Head light. I got the head light taken out and all the hard part. I'm just needing suggestions for a brighter head light, and where to buy them.

2nd. I want to get rid of the ugly front turn signals. Are there any sites that sell aftermarket blinkers that are more flush with the fairing?

3rd. I also want to get new exhaust. Something louder especially. And I've read on some places that depending on the exhaust can increase horsepower and/or mileage?

google is your friend

1st http://www.motorcyclehidlights.com/k...ights-c-76_194

2nd http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com...T.ac=SLIsearch

3 rd http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com...50R-Parts.aspx

all researched in about 10 min

what id do

1 jet kit

2 headlights
3 turn signals
then
4 slip on

it does you no good to get an exhaust if you dont jet first(IMO)....sometimes it make the bike perform worse

do not cave into people telling you you need to upgrade to a 600....Im 250# while i cant beat anyone on the straights I can keep up with any 600 in the turns.

what you really want for turn signals is some of these. I bought them for $20 on ebay

the ones the guy has a link to are ugly for the 88-07 model. Here's my bike with the turn signals installed:

I'm sorry, but I just don't see the point in upgrading exhausts. Seems like such a huge waste of money.. if you want a louder bike then just get a louder bike. lol

To modifie a bike or even car is not be load its to take what you have and make it better then what others just buy. Just like 'doo said, I have an 06 Sentra Spec-V thats fast as shit on a road course but would be luckly to be in the 13's.

So to keep this thread going...

I would want to buy a jetting kit like..

http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com...50R-Parts.aspx

..before most other mods?? What would I buy with this kit to get its max benifit??

K&N filter and an exhaust is all I can come up with but Im a noob with bikes..

pod filters and a better exhaust would give you the max benefit.

+5hp at most is all you're gonna get no matter how many performance mods you do. Just know that first.

Also, if you want more top speed or better acceleration then look at changing the sprocket sizes
