Raising a lowered Ninja?!?

I bought my first bike, a Ninja 250 from this chick. I took it home and thought nothing of it. My first bike and riding was new to me so I didn't notice anything. My friend bought a ninja a week later and the guy who sold it to my friend said someone lowered my ninja.

.. anyway I was able to turn up the suspension (with the tool from the bike's tool kit) but I am pretty sure they put different links on it. Either that or its in a different location. They're like 7 inches but I didn't measure perfectly. Are they the stock links or did they put it on a different bolt, if even possible?

Does anyone have a picture of their Ninja's stock linkage? Thanks

I know this is a common practice, especially for female owners. Here's a pic. The overall length of my stock links are 8", measurement from the centre of the 2 bolt holes is 6.5". Hope this helps.

All you did by adjusting was to adjust the preload for the spring
