slider installation

So I got my Shogun 3 piece slider kit (frame, swingarm and bar) and it didn't come with instructions. The box says no mods required but all the how to articles I've read say you need to cut a little. Others say it takes 6 hours?! Anyone have any experience/ pointers? IF I do have to cut, what's the best saw to use for an easy clean cut?

I don't know if you still need help, but I installed my Shogun frame sliders and have instructions. If you still need help, let me know. And FYI, the frame sliders work. The bike fell on it right side - no damage. I got hit on the left side by another bike last week. The foot peg/shifter bracket broke in two. The bike slid 45 degrees from the hit and went down. The body work was protected, the frame slider took the hit and did not move. My foot is black and blue, boots worked too.
