Do you want factory or after market signals...?

Factory units are easy enough to replace if that's what you need or want.. If after market signals are what you are looking for then check out Lockhart Phillips.. They offer a wide array of signal light fixtures.. Everything from flush mount to LED's are available and very reasonably priced too...

I've replaced the factory front signals with some flush mounts on my '05 which is essentially the same as your '06..
I'll try to get some pics up later if you're interested...

Yeah I am just looking for the stock turn signals now but interested in the flush mounts. I am new here just got my ninja this past friday. Just want to make sure the flush mount one's fit properly and dont leave any gaps or spaces were the stock one's go. Pictures would be great, some up close one's would be helpful. Thanks

Well I actually got flush mounts when I got the bike but the screw holes dont line up, just wondering if you ran into the same problem and did you drill a little hole for the other screw to fit in? Would like to find ones that are a direct fit.

I made some block out plates to cover the stock signal locations and then installed the flush mount fixtures through the plates in the same location as the stock signals..

The fairing has some perforations cast into the signal mounting locations and the new signals wouldn't cover up the irregularities once the factory hardware was removed... Also the openings in the fairing wouldn't allow me to locate the flush mount fixtures exactly as I would like...

The only modification I made to the fairing was to open up the existing holes where the stem and wiring of the factory signals passed through to the inside of the fairing...

The plates I made are out of black plastic sheet about 1/8" thick.. I believe it's ABS plastic... Easy to work with and maintains a similar look to the other black plastic parts on the bike...

My bike is black so that plastic should blend right in. Where did you pick up the plastic?

Honestly I do not know where it came from originally.. It's been in my garage longer than I can remember...

I would check with places that handle or specialize in plastics... There's so many different types out there but this stuff is the same type of material as the rear fender and under tail are made of..

Upon further investigation my plastic sheet is not ABS.. But more likely PVC..
