250 goin up hills?

I live in Phoenix and was wondering if i could take my ninja up to Flagstaff when I'm done breakin her in. It can get pretty steep at times seen as how Phoenix is about 1,100 ft above sea level and Flagstaff is around 7,000 ft. Any riders in Phoenix ever make that ride without trouble?

i rode my 250 up into the poconos, never really had problems going up those mountains, but i weigh 160, i wasn't trying to 80 mph, and i was prolly 2000 ft above sea level.
