Question Fuel Cut Off ???????

So I'm goin on leave for about two weeks. I've noticed that my wifes 09 ninja 250R has trouble starting up if she doesn't turn it on every couple of days. Would it be a good idea to cut off the gas? What's the setting I turn it to? Prob sounds like a stupid question but it didn't come with a manual. Any feedback would be helpful... Thanx!

There are recommendations for storage in the owner's manual. It is available for free download at kawasaki.com
