How do you guys stay warm???

Holy crap, I got caught out riding home last night (stayed at school longer than I had planned) and I thought my jacket and gloves would keep me warm, but that windchill froze my ass! What do you guys do to stay warm on the Ninja 250? It's not like it has much wind protection. I'm afraid to wear too many layers since it might be awkward trying to ride with four shirts underneath. Any tips would be great.

Under Armor works for me and I live right by the ocean in NC so it is pretty brisk here

^Really? I'm assuming you use the cold gear underarmor? I thought that stuff was just for people who sweat a lot. I don't see myself sweating much when I'm freezing my ass off on the ninja 250. But if it works for you then maybe it's worth looking in to.

Yeah, the cold gear under armor stuff works pretty well. Another thing that helps your neck and head stay warm is a silk scarf or balaclava. This keeps your neck shielded from the elements and helps you stay warm longer.

Or you can pony up for heated gear. But then you'd have to wire that to the battery of your Ninja 250. There comes a certain point where you just concede and take the car or stay home.

I don't think I need heated gear. It doesn't get thaaat cold around here. I'll look into more flexible base layers instead.
