Riding the twisties

How many of you guys take your bikes out in the canyons and see how the Ninja 250 handles? I see those guys on tv dragging their knees on the ground...I'd LOVE to do that someday. Is that something I could do on the little Ninja?

It's easier to drag knee on my 250 than my zx6r

What? Really? Why is it easier to drag knee on a Ninja 250 compared to the ZX6?

250 is much lighter and doesn't have to go nearly as fast to lean her over.

Yeah but I thought the ZX6 was made for dragging knee and the Ninja 250's more economical than a racer. So it can handle that kinda stuff, huh?

Pretty cool. I guess when I get some more confidence and ability I won't be afraid to push the limits of my 250r's cornering ability.

LA. We've got some pretty good ninja 250 roads I hear, but I've got family up in San Francisco and the roads up there are amazing!

I had my 250 up in the bay area for a few months and went riding every chance I could get. Beautiful and nice roads. LA has some absolute awesome moto roads. Of course I don't recommend riding canyons as the track is the safer place being in a "controlled" environment.
