LED bulbs

Got some led bulbs from autozone today and there Garbage, with the stock red brake lens on you can hardly see the light, it could have something to do with the leds being red but it shouldn't make that much of a difference... Either way I do NOT recommend getting led bulbs at autozone

Yea for now, if I can find the clear or smoked taillight lens then I'll use the leds again.

Main problem with LED bulb substitutes in a taillight is that the LED is more of a "point source" of light, while a regular bulb throws out a lot of light in at least 180 degrees (half sphere).

LED's work well in most turn signals because the light is more "focused" and directional.

I have come to terms with the possibility of dying while riding, life has a 100% death rate. I would rather live having fun and end up dead in a motorcycle crash than never do anything fun because it's dangerous and I might get killed. No one makes it out alive anyway. - From a friend on another forum, used with his permission.
