Thumbs up 1st oil change DONE !!!

I did my first oil change on my 250 yesterday @ 530 miles.Wow what a differance new oil makes.Way smoother on shifting & seems like the bike is more responsive.I was trippin out trying to find the small rubber o-ring.Thanks to my friend we where able to locate the little bastard.Thanks again forum!!!!!!

Kudos for the member who did the OIL CHANGE WRITE-UP!!!!!

i put castrol 10-40 semi synthetic for now.I want to go full sync at 2000 miles? is that right?

You can go full synthetic once the engine is completely broken in. So around 2000-3000 miles is about right I'm assuming.

From what I was told, the piston rings, among other parts, need to be seated properly. Synthetic oil too early will prevent this from happening, which will cause you to burn oil in the long run.
