Talking 250 Revs high on freeway ???

I took my ninja on its first freeway ride on sunday. It seems that it revs high at 80 mph 9000 rpm.Is this normal? I believe it does this because its a small engine? correct me if Im wrong. Thanks for the help.

Yep, that sounds about right. You can also change either the sprockets, or both to reduce the rev.

You can drop 500rpms by changing the front sprocket to 15.

Close gear ratio, so you're always in the sweet spot.
