How does a Ninja 250 compare to a Honda 400ex quad in terms of acceleration?

I've ridden a Honda 400ex but never a Ninja 250. I am trying to decide what size bike I should purchase.

The ninja 250 is the bare minimum to get you everywhere including the freeway. It tops out at about 105mph on a good day. You can cruise all day going 80mph no problem. Whereas, the CBR 250 will struggle past 88mph on a good day. However, the CBR is fuel injected. Ive ridden most small displacement bikes, excluding the RC390.

If you want to save money than you would want a 250 over a 600. If your looking for power, don't waste your time on any 250. Juice box, re-jet, and exhaust upgrade can only do so much. Take your time and figure out what you really want in a bike, because bikes are hard to re-sell sometimes. People will try to offer you for next to nothing.
