Yay or Nay

Hello fellow kawasakiers. So i am in search of my very first bike. My roommate rides a CBR900 with over 7 years of expereicne and he is going to teach me the ways behind a motorcycle ... Anyway ... i am not looking at any thing expensive seeing it is my first one.

Anyways my question is... I found a 2008 Stock Black 250r with 7000 miles on it clean title for. However owner has dropped the bike at low speeds. The frame is all good and mechanical wise it is tick tock. The ONLY thing is the left side of the bike is slightly rough from the fall. Attached is the damaged Left front fairing. It is clearly in need of replacement. And there are a few scuffs throught that side but no cracks. The lowest i haggled him to was down to $2400.

Overall its in good shape...I dont mind the scuff...i accept the fact that i may drop it myself....Is that a good deal?

Nay...we bought my girlfriends 2008 with less miles and NO damage what so ever or 2200. Not to mention he's asking for more than what KBB and NADA value it at.

It wouldn't be a bad deal in my area (San Diego) but if there's more options you can always keep looking. Around here you'd probably pay just a bit more for that bike in the current condition. I'd say if you like it offer $2,300 cash or walk away.

I'd say offer $2250. Just to be even cheaper

I don't think that's a bad deal. Sounds like Six just got one heck of a deal!
