Racing League questions

Hi Folks! I am trying to find some info about racing leagues for the 250R. I have been looking online at various sites, and most of the info is from 2008/2009. I have even found some videos at utube. I know on the west coast there are some groups, but in the southeast there doesn't seem to be much going on that I can find some info. I have made contact with AMA and WERA, but most of what I've been told is "local groups" are doing there own thing as there isn't alot of support right now. I know there are some great tracks (Barber, Talladega, Atlanta) that would be great, but how does it start? I've even mentioned this to my local dealer, without much interest either.

Anyone have any suggestions? I'd really appreciate it as I feel it would be a great time for everyone who was interested.

Ninja 250r Racing on the South East

Hey there,

A few of us in South Florida purchased 250r's in hopes of bringing the class down to Southern Florida with CCS next year. Where are you located?

WERA has a class called E Super Stock which is created around the Ninja EX250 and CBR250's. There is a North Florida Region that races Jennings, Roebling Road, Atlanta, Taladega, and Barber.

Please see www.facebook.com/specclassracing for more info. This is a good resource.

Ninja 250 Ultra Light Thunderbike at CCS at New Jersey Motorsports Park

BTW. CCS implemented a new class this year called Ultra Light Thunder bike. The class is designed around the Ninja 250 and CBR 250. The class is currently offered in New Jersey.

I am located in NE Tenn, but would be willing to travel for trackdays and races. My job frequently takes me to the Gulf Coast (AL & MS). I tried the link but the page doesn't open. I will look at CCS and WERA for some more info. Feel free to send me a PM or post any additional info you may have. Going to be setting up my bike over the holidays. Thanks again!
