Rookie From San Diego
Hey guys/gals, just got my new 2009 Kawi 250r and wanted to drop a line. I am totally new to Motorcycles and I am in the midst of my Basic rider course which is helping me a lot. Any body here from Diego?

Hey man.
Welcome to the site. I actually havent visited here in quite some time (shame on me). I posted a little bit when I was first learning to ride a little more than a year ago. Since then I sold the '03 250 I learned on, and bought an '09 250. Loving it. Thinking next year I might teach my lady to ride the 250 and get a 600. At any rate, I'm from San Diego too. It seems sometimes like the only motorcyclists that have internet access are all in LA. Good to see that's not true.

Hey EVORIDER, where did or are you taking the basic riders course?
I asked because my girlfriend recently completed her course in the Kerny Mesa area and was wondering if you were in her class. Anyhow, she just purchased a 2009 Ninja 250 in red. I however, ride a CBR 600rr but for the time being, have been riding her 250 and been enjoying the heck out of it  . If love how light it feels, how updated it looks, and how good the gas mileage is. Its basically a great all around bike!
