What to do with helmet.

What do you guys/gals do with your helmet when you go in a business? Do you just carry it around with you, or leave it in the bike somewhere? If you leave it at the bike, how do you secure it so its not stolen?

I always take mine with me. I can always secure it with the hooks located under the passenger seat but it's easier for me just to take it with me. Especially if I'm going to be in and out of that business pretty quick.

I usually carry mine for quick trips - just put it in the shopping cart. I've also made up a thin cable (with a loop at each end) that I can run through my jacket and helmet, and the helmet lock, and leave the whole pile on the bike, like when it's at the commuter station in summer, and I don't want to wear a jacket all day.

I don't take off my helmet , but if its a bank run then yeah
