It was a pain. The mounting brackets are actually inside the front fairing, and you can't remove the front fairing without having to remove both side fairings.

BTW, I ordered a 2008 Kawasaki Ninja 250R service repair manual directly from Kawasaki (http://www.kawasaki.com/DefaultFrame.aspx?strContentURL=/Site/VIVehicleInformation/VItechpubs.asp?intCatalogID%3d2%26CatalogTypeID%3d 4%26ProductTypeID%3d14%26ModelMarketingID%3d163%26 ModelCode%3dEX250J8F%26ModelYear%3d2008%26SHOWVEHT ABS%3d1).

Did I miss something? WTF happened to your bike or is that not yours?

I bought the bike used, so it had some minor damages but nothing big.

Oh I see. Damn shame the person you bought it from crashed it.

Is it a salvage title now?

No, it's clean title. It had a broken mirror, front signal light, and rashed up lower left side fairing. I already got all the replacement parts, should be here today in fact! :fingersx I got it for pretty cheap so I can't complain. :scooter

That's awesome though.

Hell .................... I may be putting mine up for sale soon. They're in such high demand I can get a lot more then what I paid for it ($3500 otd) and take that profit and get my Ducati. :noteeth

I've got an easier way to remove the mirrors.
It involves removing 4 screws in the front of the windshield, 2 screws behind it (near the speedometer), removing the windshield and then you can access the mirror screws.

Hmm, I gotta try that next time. Thanks!
