Back to topic, I think we have only one person not in CA. Vtec I think it would be a good idea once we get 100 members.

My 2 cents on the subject... if there were specific forums for northern/southern/SD in california... 2 of the 3 would be barren. There's nothing a short abreviation in the group event title can't handle. Northern Cali ride?... NC - Date - Ride location
Southern Cali ride (LA)?... SC - Date - Ride location
SD ride?... SD - Date - Ride location

Then have the specific details inside the actual thread. Vtec44 may even be able to add prefix's for this (not sure if it can be done for specific forums).

That is true. I take back what I said, just post up a "Rules of Group Rides" thread in each one and make it sticky. Post in it how to title your thread. Location/date/time.
