Hi my wifes 250R has developed a knock from the front end that you get over bumps and feels like the head bearings or front forks!! When it does it, it feels like something is broken or missing? I put it on the front paddock stand and checked the front wheel bearing but that seems fine. I can't feel or see anything obvious. Has anyone had a fault like this? Her bike is an 08 with 4.5K miles on it, she has had it about 6 weeks.

Have you checked all the wires and make sure they're secured and not hitting any other parts?

Good news the knock is cured. The centre steering stem nut was loose, torqued it up to 40Nm and its nice and quiet. Hopefully the head bearings haven't been damaged!!

Good news indeed. I'd use blue locktite to prevent the nut from backing out again.
