hi, i am thinking about buying a 97 ninja 250 and i will need a few different parts for it, i am wondering what years are compatible, and where can i find some of these plastic parts cheap? thanks

1986 thru 2007 are the years that you need to look for. Kawasaki did not change the bike in 20 years until 2008 when they revamped the styling and some parts on 2008+ bikes fit the previous models such as the rear shock. Well happy parts hunting.

pretty much what he said. If you have a pre 2008 model, you can find parts for cheap on ebay.

I have found the fast and easy way to get this parts that will work is to check the parts list on different Kawi dealers sites. Find the actual part for your bike which you need, write down the part number, and then go backward and search for the same part on the earlier years. If the part numbers are match than you can get that.
