i cant figure out way when i turn on my key and the lights on the display panel wont come on. i have to mess with the key to get the lights on so i can start the bike. and just recently the bike has trouble starting and then the battery dies and just before the battery completley dies the bike starts. tonight on my way home from work the bike quit because i hit a bump and the key turned off. please any info could help let me know. the bike is a 08 ninja 250.

I'm not sure about a bike. On a car, I would start with the key switch. I would test the switch key switch by using either a test light or a multimeter.
