hey gents (and ladies). i just became a new owner of a 2005 ninja 250r. i currently own a 1989 honda shadow VLX (600) of which is currently going through 1 of several growth spurts. havent ridden in a year and swore if i went another year without riding i'd go insane.
hence the purchase of my new ninja. got her for a hell of a steal as well. looks brand new, has 13k miles on it and picked it up for $1200. needs new tires straight off the bat.
i will point out, no mods for this girl! that's what the other bike is for, lol. meanwhile, i need to learn the quirks of this bike and what to look for, watch out for specifically. any suggestions on oil, tire pressure, known issues to look at? general maintence other than common knowledge (chain, etc)?
