Hey everyone. I'm new to the forum but not new to riding. Does anyone ride in San Diego...primarily the canyons thru old 94 to Dulzura & Tacate or thru Lyons Valley...etc. I want to get a group ride going or 2-3 people. I go to Golden Acorn Casino for breakfast almost every weekend & would enjoy some company & we're usually back by noon. Thanks, see ya!

Welcome :biker
The 94 looks interesting on mapquest. Off subject but do they make Tecate in Tecate?
It would be a long haul for me but I would be open for a ride down south to check out a new road sometime.
For me it'd have to be something planned far in advance. I'd be trucking my bike down there (I've ridden to SD for a ride before.... never again).

Welcome to the forums.
I'm not in San Diego but I'm sure you'll locate a few people on here that you can get a ride going with.

Yes the Tecate factory is in Tecate, Mexico. There is a turnoff to head southeast to Tecate off of the route I take, but I don't go there. Mexico is not the best place to be these days, however, there is safety in numbers.

We meet at the Starbucks parking lot in Eastlake on the corner off Eastlake Parkway & Telegraph Canyon (Lowes/Target shopping center). Exit "L" St. from the 805 South. Go east 4-5 miles & it'll be on the left hand side. We're going Sunday if you have your bike. Meet time is 8:30. Should be three riders going, all mature. We'll be travelling to the Golden Acorn Casino & it takes approx 1hr. You can always split after breakfast & take highway 8 back to San Diego. Don't miss out, these are the best roads in the county. In case you haven't seen the review here is a link.. this is the area we ride thru. http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/157/735/Motorcycle-Article/2008-Kawasaki-Ninja-250R-First-Ride.aspx
