Thanks for setting this forum up. I've found that people here are cooler than the other 250 forums. I posted a referral on ninja250.org where I used to go. They are a bunch of old arrogant jerks.

P.S. Free stuff owns!!

I got the same vibe from them, especially the admins. I'm no expert, but not a newbie either. The point of this place is for all Ninja 250R riders to gather and share info. We put up with enough crap from other riders because the bike that we ride, no need for fellow 250R owners to make us look/feel dumb.

I like this place! Thanks for making it. Im not as "afraid" to make a new thread about something random or even about the bike as say a certain other Kawasaki related message board.:nono2

It's all good. I rather us build our own user base by referring friends than doing that on their forum. :scooter

Usually thats against the forums rules to post links to another competing message board

Basically if you want to do that send people PM's that way the Admin's don't read it. Also if you are going to do it in the first place, ask permission before posting.

It costs money to put sites up. Websites usually make their money by business who ask to post ad's up on the website, therefor the person who makes the web site gets paid. How do you think the guy who created myspace made so much money if you don't pay to be a member.:twak

He doesn't charge to be a member and that's not how he made his money. Advertising is how he made is money. Allowing other sites to post banners, links, and whatnot on his is how he made money. He hasn't made a dime off the people who have accounts /profiles.

Hey Vtec44..great job dude on managing 3 sites at the same time and managing them so well! I used to manage the website and forums of an organisation some time back...I know how it is
I just signed up here(got the link from sportbikers.net )
As for suggestions : We can try to get a better header image for the site.
Also..with the ninja 250s being so popular mototrcycles..we should think of promoting this great site in some more creative ways!

Thanks! Yeah, the sites keep me busy and occupied so the wife has less to worry about me. :lmfao So how can we promote the site? :D

Well..I was thinking of some DIY videos would surely help the new riders.
e.g. When I bought my ninja 250..I had no clue about motorcycles.I wanted to change the oil on my 250 but didnt know where to start.Amazingly youtube has a whole tutorial about it !
Heres the link : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dX1uVnyXhEQ

..So on a similar note I was thinking if we could make some good videos like these for newbies as well as advanced stuff (for track bikes etc) and host them on this site..I am sure that we will get a lot more hits. It would be even better if we put a small trailer of the video on youtube and then ask the viewer to go www.250r.net and see the rest of the video for free.

..my 2 cents

That's a great idea. I was thinking about something like that, but I suck at making instructional videos. Plus with several forums, I barely have time for anything else. I guess I'll just slowly making them as I go through the maintenances on my bike. :scooter
