I'm ZMoe.

My first street legal bike was a 1996 Kawasaki Ninja EX250. Black. I kept it for 3 years before trading it to a friend for his 1992 FZR600. I'm a firm believer that the Ninja 250 is the best beginner bike available.

I'm nice, so don't be mean to me.

I'd be Hawkster...

I'd agree about the Ninja rocking for new riders.

Started on a '68 160cc Honda Dream.

Ride safe,

H~

My first street bike was also a Ninja 250, 2002. I started riding on dirtbikes when I was a little kid, then kind of stopped until the riding bug bit me in my early 20's. I bought a Honda CBR600f4i after my 250, and now riding a track only 2003 600RR. I'm currently looking for a redesigned Ninja 250 to get back into street riding again :D

Like flor my first bike is still a lil ninja, but an '08. Been riding since February. Well MSF in January if that counts. Never even rode dirt before then. Even if I get a bigger bike some day I never see myself letting go of the 250.

Yeah, I was pretty sad when I sold my 02 250. But I'm getting another one ... hopefully... soon ... :scooter

I just got my first bike on july 18th 2008

The 250 is definitely a perfect starter bike, i am a female, 5'6" and i knew, without even seeing this bike other than on website pictures and online, that this was gonna be my first bike to own...

I now have my fantasies come reality haha...I'm a grad student with a convertible (97' eclipse spider) and a motorcycle. It's amazing what you can do with financial aid money! (oh and note: if I ask dumb questions in the future, don't hate: just throw me in the right direction;) )
