This is my Ninja 250r, Purchased in june of this summer, almost got 1000 miles on it. got about 30 more to go. Then i can open her up. YEAH!. See what she can do. I did eliminat the rear fender and replaced the side reflectors with my custom cut ones and my wind shield is tinted black.
Shes a looker.

My new 09 Ninja!
The stripes are metallic white Reflective stickers I added..... I was inspired from the Saleen S7R Car and their signature Mustangs!

Really they did a great job on these 09 Ninjas. All of them look very sharp. I got mine 2 weeks ago as a first bike. I get all kind of compliments on it.

Just bought this for my daughter who recently passed her MSF street class. I told her I'd help with the purchase if she earned all A's. Began the search in March, expecting to buy an early-mid 200? type for $1,500 or less. June class arrives, and she was 2nd in the class on paper, and top on the road course. Suddenly, a listing appeared in another state for this blue-belle. She had been abused, dropped and neglected, but with only 364.5 miles, a test ride indicated that the damage was cosmetic. That's right: less than 400 miles! No title or reg. made things a bit complicated, but thanks to the web and calls to my insurance, PD's and DMV, I was reasonably assured the bike was not stolen. Taking advantage of the owner's home state woe's (lost title, no reg, DUI, revoked license, fines and court costs), I came home with leftover cash for tax, title and insurance....as well as a new cover, new helmet and new jacket! :biggrin2 Cleaned the dirt and grime, changed the fluids, replacing a mirror, fixed a blinker, washed and waxed, and the scratches are not too bad.... One goes to black at the fairing seam ahead of the left blinker.... Otherwise she polished up very nicely!

Hey! I have only ridden it three times! And she still does not know it's here....;-)
But as I weight 250, and it has now been lowered to fit her 5'2" frame, I don't think it is really the bike for me....sure is fun through the corners, and no grinding like my big Vtwin.... This pic is the damaged side....I have asked in the newbe section for discovery of the PSR on the fairing? The other side is undamaged, but also does not have the logo....

I saw this on a google search... might be a far fetch... but I was also trying to check it with the other logo that is in this picture... it's for Prior Service Recruiting... seems kinda unlikely... but maybe:

The leaf crown certainly looks similar....PSR also makes the lowering kit and other aftermarket stuff, but I can't find a fairing from them...otherwise, might mean the left fairing is a replacement...given the bike's history, that would not surprise me!

I think you are probably right... if they make the lowering kit then the previous owner probably just stuck the decal on the fairing... the fairing doesn't look any different from stock.

2011 Special Edition

i included a pic of my black ninja 250r. its a 2009. just bought her like 2 weeks ago. first bike :). i got a GREAT deal... but it was dropped on the right side... but for the deal i got i'll live. has some light scratches... no cracks holes or anything of the sort... but does need new right turn signal... the first pic in the driveway is the day i got her. the 2nd pic is my vision for her... if you google monster 250r decals you'll find the images i have on her. they are normally put on a green ninja 250r. but i didnt like it. i put the green one in "paint" and cut out the images of the monster symbol and the monster name and inserted them on a black ninja 250r i got off google. then i got a green rear seat off of a 2010 ninja 250r SE. if im not mistaken the only year they did the green rear seat stock?? then i found an HMF exhaust in lime green.. and a fender eliminator... and possibly (not done in this pic) but a tinted windscreen and the green rim inserts around the rim... and today actually i just bought the HMF lime green exhaust. i bought the lime green seat off ebay last week. and debating if i wanna drop $45 (ebay) for the decals or wait it out and try and find them cheaper... and the monster stickers will cover like 90% of the scratches. so that'll be another plus. let me know your thoughts... i'll post some pix in a few weeks of it actually done...
