Anyone tried it yet? The rear has dual tread compound, kind of like Pirelli SuperCorsas.

I have not. I love my Bridgestone tires though.

Raced on them a few years back. They slide well, are predictable and hook back up smoothly. I recommend them.

Ride safe,

Which one are you using? These are also Bridgestone. Since I only use it for commuting, I'm more interested in mileage and dual compound got my attention. :scooter

I have the BT45's on my '06. They're fantastic tires in terms of feel and handling (they feel similar to the Pirelli MT75's), though I haven't had them long enough to comment on their longevity. I did get them because of the dual compound rear which will hopefully age better than the stockers and MT75's did during my commuting and long trips on the freeway. Give me till about 40,000 miles on my odometer and I'll tell you how they do :P

I am using the BT 090's. They are a full race spec tire, multi compound. But they still work awesome on the street and so far I have seen no decrease in mileage on or off the track. As a matter of fact the tires hold up EXTREMELY well on the street even at "cruising" speed and on the track ....................... MERCY. :hearteyes

Daym, the BT090's are like $230 a set. It's cheaper than my standard DOT race tires on the other bike but I was hoping it to be under $200. As long as I can get about 10k miles on then I it's good enough I guess. It's time to scour local race forums for take-offs. :D

They have been more then worth the sticker price for me.

Talk to Tige. He's a friend of mine and got the BT 090's for me. He can hook you up and may be close to you. He's in Tustin.

i was recently at a bike meet held by Buymoto.com at their location here in san diego. I talked about doing a track day, and possibly looking at a set of tires that i can use for track. He recomemned Bridgestone Battlax 106. Its new to the market and i cant find any info on them. Other than the BT90 what are other options for track use?

As far as I know only Bridgestone is making a race /track tires in the 250R's size. Call Tige and ask him as I believe he supplies all the tires for the WSMC 250 Cup.
