Not really surprising to see the MSRP go up since the bikes are selling like hotcakes now. Maybe in a few years if gas prices drop a bit and the hype settles the MSRP will come back down to the original kickass price of $2.999k.

i have the 09 special edition green. here in central illinois the only color you couldn't get is black. which was upsetting for me lol.

What are you guys talking about? There is a green 2009 model! it's just gonna be called the "Special Edition" lime green. It's gonna have the metallic black in the middle. is the 2008 green rare? not really, the 09 looks way better.

There is no 09 model that is solid green is what everyone is talking about. Yes it has the black /white in the middle of the fairings.

No, as of now I don't think the 08 solid green can be considered rare.

Even though my colorblind thoughts should not count, I really like the black/white fairings on the 09. The black has some pearl in it, which looks really sharp on a sunny day. I really like the extra eye candy on the 09, but I am partial.

In other words, I'm right. Thanks SubZero. Solid green or green with black in the middle is still GREEN. And the 'personal opinion' comment...what do you think looks better, the '08 or the '09?

BTW, i was being sarcastic when i said "What are you guys talking about?"

I like blue and black color, but the blue will certainly stand out more in general. If I go down the ninja route I will probably go the blue, my next bike will be black though..
