Hey I just won a 250R in a kawasaki sweepstakes!! This is pretty awesome just took delivery of the bike 2 days ago and I've only put 100 miles on it, but I gotta say this bike is alot of fun. Some people say it's alittle too small and under powered. I say they don't know how to drive a motorcycle. You gotta revv the crap outta this thing to get to it's full potential, but it goes 85mph on the highway just fine and you can pop a wheelie in 1st gear pretty easy.

I have two main issues with the bike. The first is carb issues as it being carbureted it takes alittle bit to warm up, and the throttle response off idle is slow.(maybe a rejet could help this??).. and second the throttle travel to full throttle is too far as you need to go full throttle often to extract the potential of this bike it would be nice to have it be about half as far.(is there a mod for this?)


My other bike is a 2003 Triumph Speed Triple 955i(955cc 150hp) and in some ways this bike is more fun. Here's a pic of them together:

I agree with the the slow throttle response off idle, I've noticed with any sort of incline you really gotta give rev er up. If you come up with something please do tell
